By now, we know that the only way to get things done efficiently is to have a plan. So today, in this installment of Inspired Visions we want to take the next step. We want to get into the next principle that is going to make the difference between success and failure in the fast approaching New Year. What is that principle you ask? It is Energy.

Energy is the major force in life. When we have energy – we succeed. When we don’t have energy – we fail. It’s that simple. So given these facts, the question then becomes…how do we get energy?

First, I have to clarify something. When I say energy, I mean Motivational Energy. Our Motivational Energy comes from our mind. It has nothing to do with our physical bodies. Getting Motivational Energy has everything to do with what we put into our minds, and when, and how often we put it there.

When you make a plan to reach your goal, in order to achieve that goal…you are only allowed to keep your mind focused on THREE things.

1. The Plan. 2. The Goal. 3. The Motivational Statements of any kind. That’s it.

If you are thinking about anything else other than what has been listed above, I’m here to inform you that your thinking is out of bounds. These are the only things you should put in your mind concerning your vision and you should do this EVERY DAY in a quiet place for at least two minutes!

It goes without saying that documenting your plan and your overall goal are the first things you should do at this point in your life. This is first and foremost when you want to achieve anything. But, I assume, you have this covered already.

So to summarize these are the principles below to reach your Goal in the New Year:

  1. Focus on your Plan.
  2. Focus on your Goal.
  3. Increase your Motivational Energy by Reading.
  4. Do this every day for at least 2 minutes.

Inspired Point of Power:  The only way to make your goal a reality is to maintain your Motivational Energy.  And Motivation is in your Mind!
